I ordered my daughter a present and the company I ordered it from sent it out late, after waiting in all day I missed the delivery so I went out to Tesco to get her some other bits and I saw a Royal Mail van so on the off chance I thought I would ask the gentleman if he had the parcel. IAN from Colchester was amazing he told me he would ask any of his colleagues if they could re deliver it that day as my daughter had autism and really really wanted this present. He then spent his own time sourcing this present and delivering it to me the same day!!!! Please @royalmail can IAN be given the praise he deserves for the smile he has put on an autistic child’s face!!!!!!

Awful postal service
Waiting on energy voucher that was issued 2 weeks ago and absolutely no sign of it, probably just tossed to the side no doubt! Getting mail to my address is very few and far between nowadays! RM has gone down the drain!

Hacked with no compensation
I have important documents stuck in their post offices since January, and they still haven't resumed their international postage that was submitted to their post offices!!

No compensation for their horrible service, all caused by their lack of security and foresight.

Is this any way to treat your customers?!
I am still waiting to hear back from the Escalation Team after my complaint was passed on to them over 3 weeks ago. I initially had a phone message from a Chris Counter, saying he was ‘very keen’ to speak to me about my poor experience (see my previous review). He promised to call back later and assured me he also had my email address. I’ve heard NOTHING since, either by phone or email.
I even emailed Royal Mail again on 27/01/23 to see why the escalation team hadn’t been back in touch. No reply, nothing. Now, yet another package has gone missing, so the complaints are stacking up with no resolution and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Royal Mail from reliable to rubbish
One of the worst companies today. Order was dispatched to RM Monday afternoon and two days later there's no update on the tracking app apart from the dispatch time which was around 3 o'clock Monday. Its a local delivery which makes it unbelievably frustrating as would of been better off driving 35mins to grab the item than relying on RM. Everyone says Evri is bad but any other delivery company has your item out for delivery on the stated date with constant updates unlike RM. Will try avoiding in the future as their tracked 24/48 delivery is rubbish.

Very silent and didn't ring door bell
Very silent and didn't ring door bell, despite me being home there was no way to know this person showed up other than the small mail that when thru the flap. It's annoying since i was waiting but heard nothing and i checked the door and only saw a missed delivery and some letters.

Rubbish mail not royal
What has happened to Royal Mail it has become a joke. If your reading this I would advise using alternate courier. I have had no postman for 6 months when enquired about why no straight answer, then when called to complain just get fobbed off again. There is no due diligence no responsibility taken. So please if sending something important go elsewhere.

Failed delivery
My business dispatched some Christmas Chocolate gifts through RM special delivery and they never arrived before Christmas. When i complained and asked for compensation I was informed that it was down to strikes and i had no case.

I've since moved my business to couriers due to RM's unreliability and pathetic excuses.

If you choose to use RM for any reason, please think again

Post office guarantee worthless
Paid for guaranteed next day delivery was delivered 24 hours late when compensation applied for blaming it on industrial action and compensation not given this was not pointed out to me on day of purchase does the post office have a problem with the word GUARANTEED I am now reporting them to the trading standards
They sold me a product guaranteed knowing full well this could not be achieved very disappointed in what used to be an honest company

Garbage
I have never received a SINGLE parcel delivered properly to my address. NOT EVEN ONCE FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS. The only thing I get is that bs we missed you card and I have to spend time and money to collect the parcel myself. Utterly garbage.

8 First Class stamps.. You're kidding right?
I have international orders sent in November that are STILL sat in Milton Keynes. It's February.

I have a damaged item (complete with boot print on the packaging) that they refuse to accept liability on and sent a letter essentially going "Oh well".

And the package they lost with a content value of £100, that was insured as such, got "reimbursed" - after 2 months - with a book of 8 First class stamps. Worth less than £8.

Actual jokers. No wonder it's going under.

Cyber Attack still not Resolved after 4 Weeks
Well,4 weeks have gone by and the Cyber attack affecting International Postings still not resolved.I have a parcel i posted on 9 Jan to the USA still "in storage" with Royal mail despite RM "working round the clock to resolve the issue".Ha Ha.!!! All because I bought the Int'l Tracked/Signed Postage from my local Post Office.RM,you are Pathetic,Unsympathetic and to rub it in,may take 90 days to investigate any compensation/loss claims,according to my latest response from them.They have lost my business!!!

Cyber Attack Still Unresolved After a Month
30 Days have gone by and the Cyber attack affecting International Postings still not resolved.I have a parcel i posted on 9 Jan to the USA still "in storage" with Royal mail despite RM "working round the clock to resolve the issue".
They are accepting on line parcels but this will get stuck in the system if you use it.(I have tried it )
You get no response or help from royalmail directly to this problem.

Four weeks in and still cannot send FRANKED MAIL from our business!! We have customers cancelling orders and cannot even update anyone, its the same message everyday, it seems if you send Franked Mail you are not even considered to be a business and are therefore treated like jo public... Thanks for nothing Royal Mail!! Lack of Customer Service is appalling ??

24hr tracked according to website delivered within 24hrs, according to customer services delivered any time after 3 days according to there own staff delivered in 24 hrs ask for an apology or a little compensation n get told about everyone else’s needs and how they have to be treated nothing said about my needs and what I paid for. So one they have your money basically it’s we have your money you can do one your not getting what you paid for. Royal Mail a joke
